Bianca Rowley: Selected for Prix de Lausanne! A Remarkable Achievement

We are thrilled to announce that one of our most dedicated and talented students, Bianca Rowley, has been selected to participate in the prestigious Prix de Lausanne — the world’s most renowned ballet competition!

This incredible achievement is not only a personal milestone for Bianca but also a momentous occasion for our Academy. Bianca, who is 16 years old and originally from Australia, is the only student from Hong Kong to be selected this year for this highly competitive event. In fact, Bianca is only the second student coming out of a Hong Kong school to earn such an honor in more than 10 years, with the last selected candidate Chloé Petermann in 2020.

A Journey of Dedication and Mentorship

Bianca’s selection to the Prix de Lausanne is a reflection of her years of hard work, determination, and unwavering commitment to ballet. Under the direction of our founder and head teacher, Venus Villa, Bianca was able to blossom and progress incessantly thanks to her own drive for perfection, while being supported by parents and a community who saw her incredible potential.

Miss Venus, a seasoned Principal ballerina with years of experience in the ballet world, has nurtured Bianca’s talent, focusing on not only her technical prowess but also her artistry and stage presence. The relationship between student and teacher at our academy is built on trust, support, and a shared vision of achieving excellence. Venus has guided Bianca through every step of her ballet journey, pushing her to constantly improve while encouraging her to remain true to her passion for the art form.

We also want to take this opportunity to extend our heartfelt thanks to Bianca’s parents, who have supported her every step of the way. Ballet is an incredibly demanding art form that requires immense dedication and sacrifice. The fact that Bianca has been able to achieve this level of excellence is a testament not only to her talent but to the unwavering support she receives from her family. A Proud Moment for Venus Villa Dance Academy

As a school, we couldn’t be prouder of Bianca and this unique achievement. It serves as a testament to the values and dedication that we intend to share. We are a community that prides itself on fostering creativity, discipline, and excellence in our students. Bianca’s journey is an inspiration to all of us and reinforces the importance of passion, hard work, and mentorship in achieving one’s dreams. We are glad to know that she has found solace each time she stepped into our school and that within these walls, she has been able to share that common goal with fellow students such as Miyu, Sophia and Coco, who push each other every day to achieve their best. We hope that this is just the first of many, and that it will pave the way for other of our students to reach that level and live such memorable moments!

We look forward to supporting Bianca as she prepares for the Prix de Lausanne and wish her all the best in the competition. We are confident that she will represent our school, Hong Kong, and her home country of Australia with grace, poise, and strength.

Once again, congratulations to Bianca Rowley for being selected to the Prix de Lausanne 2025. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for this incredibly gifted young dancer.
